Lesbian Actress Sextape: “It Happened A Long Time Ago, I Am Not A Lesbian, It Was An Orgy, My Fiance Is Not Happy About This Scandal” – Alleged Lesbian Partner Cries Out

The alleged ‘lesbian lover’ in the alleged sex tape with City FM intern Gracia – Drea has revealed that at no point did Omini threaten Gracia, that it’s either Gracia was just scared or she wanted publicity.

According to Drea, who also works in a media firm, she’s not happy with the way the whole issue has escalated as her job is on the line and her fiancĂ© who she’s pregnant for, has been seriously disturbed by the news. Speaking to LIB exclusively, Drea revealed that it was a long time ago the sex act happened, that they were a ‘group of guys and girls’ and she’s changed from that kind of life now. .
Drea, who was alleged to be the one who engaged in the lesbian act and shot the lesbian video with Gracia said to LIB:

‘We’ve been friends for like a while, three of us, me, Gracia and Omini. The girl in question happens to be like my old time friend’
Now truth is i don’t know why all this came from or started from’
‘I just got a call from her yesterday and she checked my messages on whatsapp, this girl hasn’t called me for over 8 years, so i was like this one she’s calling me right now, what’s up?’
‘So i gave her my other number and she called me back and said she needed to talk to me that infact lets chat on whatsapp, she sent me messages that this guy is asking her stuffs he’s trying to blackmail her over a sex video that we made’
‘I was shocked and dumbfounded because first thing first ‘there was no sex video!’

LIB: But she said there was a sex video….

Drea: Exactly the problem i have with her!  There is no sex video at all. There is nothing. What we did was just a couple of girls and guys in the room having fun (orgy) and everybody is just there.

LIB: It wasn’t just the both of you?

Drea: No! and when we were done with recording ourselves, ok we had fun watching ourselves we deleted the video instantly. I was the person recording the video, i deleted it.
‘So there’s no way Omini will say he has a video, the same thing i told her’ If Omini says he has videos of you he should come out and show us, that’s what i told her. If there’s any video it’s from you, cause even at that particular point in time that we were together in that same party all the guys in that video have traveled abroad. We didn’t even know Omini’

‘Omini was not in the picture so then how can Omini now say he has a sex video’ She said she’s shocked oh’ ‘I now said my sister i don’t have anything of yours that’s sexual against you and there’s nothing like a sex video please try and resolve with Omini’

At that time my line was buzzing, it was Omini calling me, I said ok fine while you are still on line let me pick Omini’s call lets do a conference call together. Omini confront this girl here and now, but that didn’t work’ the conference call didn’t hold due to network issues’ But later Omini called me and asked me Drea did you give me any video?, then i asked Omini did i ever ever in my entire life tell you about any sex video?’

‘I also munched Omini’s chat because this thing later on will spoil my own character, am also a media person, seriously my job is also on the line’
I don’t know what’s happening, i munched his chats, i didn’t reply him because i don’t have anything against him, neither do i have anything against Gracia’

‘Haven’t spoken to her in 8 years and all of a sudden, this thing happened- if Omini is threatening you first things first where are the messages that Omini sent to you?’
‘She said her phone where the messages were got wiped off, do you know that as i’m talking to you right now Omini is sending her messages that Drea is trying to play her.’

LIB: Did you see any munched messages of Omini threatening to blackmail her?

Drea: She didn’t show me any of the messages..

LIB: So she did it out of fear ?

Drea: What she told me was that she was scared Omini will release the video which i told her there’s no video from Omini or from me, from any other person i don’t know oh..’

LIB: Did she do this for fame? To help her acting career?

Drea: That is what i don’t know because she’s not that kind of girl, she’s a good girl.
I was on air when Omini called me, after i finished my program i called Omini back. He said they are in the police station and i told him let me be clear and i also recorded my conversation with him ‘I don’t know anything about any video, me and you never made any video, i did not give you any video or picture, so please leave me out of this’

‘They are already spoiling my character because they’ve tagged me as a lesbian, which i am not, i am engaged’

‘And right now my guy is also aware of this thing he’s been calling my phone 24/7 asking me what’s happening (Sobs)
I don’t know what’s happening, i can’t concentrate on my work anymore’

(sobs) The whole story, i don’t even know who’s lying. I told her in the first place, babe if you have a problem you don’t need to go online and tell the whole story’
‘Someone has come to use my past to blackmail me, i was once a club personality, i do events, i hype, people have come to blackmail me and if you blackmail me i tell people who are supposed to be aware of it, not go online’
‘ I told her take it down, don’t put that up, be sure of it, she said no oh i don’t want to spoil my career, because right now i cannot say Omini is lying or Gracia is lying, i don’t know them anymore’ ‘It’s been long we saw ourselves, people change!
‘I have changed, i’m not that kind of party person like before, i have a relationship, i’m pregnant for my fiancĂ©’
‘Am supposed to get married and all this things are coming out?!

As at press time Gracia has deleted all her IG posts where she alleged Ominiaho threatened her with the sex tape.

.......“I do enjoy every moment I spend with you girls. How will tomorrow be like?” Chike asked as we prepared to leave the food joint. I smiled and stared at Amara who laughed and shrugged. “Me too, who doesn't like free things” she joked. “You are crazy” I laughed.

Chike really presented himself as a nice guy. He truly was a likeable guy, but I still had some reservations about him. I knew for a fact that guys could do anything to get under a lady's skirt, moreover he wasn't based in the country {Nigeria} and could be living a double life.

“Knowing if a guy truly has genuine affection for you” is seriously one of the hardest challenges we girls do face. No amount of ebooks nor guides can solve the mystery behind play boys, their charms and tricks.

They always say the nicest things, do the best deeds, and are the most romantic, {but deep down their hearts are as black as charcoal}.

I really saw no flaws in Chike. His behaviour so far was perfect, his manners splendid, his words charming and his looks breathtaking.

Amara's overwhelming support and approval of him also had great effect on my judgement. I was slowly growing fond of him, something I really couldn't stop. Perhaps it was due to the bond he created so fast with me, using my friend as a link and due to sense of belonging I felt around him coupled with the problems I was having with Mike.

All these not withstanding, it really would be unladylike to fall so easily for him.
Yea I liked him a great deal, but my heart was still with Mike, even though I had gotten back a large chunk of it from him.

Most of us fall the victim of jumping from one guy to another, getting used, dumped and spat on, as we search for the one true love.

Sometimes I find it hard to believe if there is ever something like one true love. Nothing is perfect, likewise love, and I think the best approach is to manage the one we already have.

It could grow or it could die. It all depends on destiny. I truly would have gladly sacrified everything for Mike, if not for the little girl that stood between us. Stella of course was a bad schemer, but she wouldn't have totally spoilt my mind if not for her little daughter she used as a shield.
I knew Mike truly wasn't happy with her, but I also couldn't swear for him either. He might loath her in the day, but at night could still have relations with her. It is in guys nature to put behind their shame and commitments when horny.

“Do you like the novels?” Chike asked as he drove us back to our lodge. I nodded and smiled, glancing through them. “Of course I can't wait to read them” I replied happily. He smiled and drove on quietly, until we got to our lodge.

“I will check up on you girls again tomorrow. Do take care” he smiled to us as we alighted from his car. We polietly stood and watched him reverse his car and zoom off. “Isn't Mike's car I see coming?”

Amara asked seconds later. I looked up and nodded. “I detest that obnoxious boy. It's time you totally break up with him before it gets too late” she said seriously. I breathed deeply and stood my ground.
Mike gently parked his car, alighted and came towards us. The first place his eyes fell were on the “take away” bags we held........

...Chike took us to an exquisite restaurant at the other end of the town. The food they served was really well cooked and delicious. The scenery was super cooled and lively, unlike other noisy crowded restaurants I have been to.

“I really was wondering the reason you drove a great distance just for ordinary lunch, but now I clearly see the reason. I love this place” Amara giggled as we ate the fried rice we ordered.

Chike laughed and glanced at me. “Yea I love the environment and everything around here. The food is grade A but expensive, Perhaps that's the reason few people come around” he replied. “Don't talk like that cousin, I'm very sure they make lots of profit” Amara argued.

He shrugged, sipped his drink and winked at me. “Hope you like the rice?, I don't really understand what you girls see in rice” he smiled. “The food is awesome, thank you” I murmured politely, dropping my eyes nervously.

“I forgot to show you the novels I brought for you. They are in the car” he said to me.
“Wow I can't wait to see them” I smiled.
“You know Cyndii, I came back home from London mostly to see my family and search for a girl I could relate with, hopefully get married if things work out well. But luck really wasn't on my side till I met you. I met many girls, but they lacked one thing or the other. Finally I am stuck with your shadow and I know you crossed my path for a reason, though I'm yet to figure it all out” he said calmly.

My hands shook as I listened to him. “Amara told me your story, a very interesting one you have got dear” he smiled, making me more nervous and uncomfortable. I kept mute, because I really didn't know what to say. “I know I shouldn't get involved in your problems, but I sincerely do like you. If by any chance you feel like giving your heart another trial.

Hmmmm” he breathed deeply and threw a glance at Amara. “I can make use of the promotion. Don't hesitate to upgrade our friendship” he seriously joked. I stared at him and smiled.

I was begining to like him more, and due to the surge in interest, many questions instantly popped up in my mind, but I couldn't get myself to ask him, which made me reserve it for Amara. “Perhaps she is right after all. I could learn to love him if only I give my heart the chance”
“But is falling in and out of love healthy and appropriate for a lady?” I wondered sadly.
ONLY IF I WAS A BOY....

...“You can't guess what happened to me on my way back from church early today?” Amara said with a smile, breaking me away from my thoughts. she knew I was very depressed and really was finding a way to cheer me up.

“What happened?” I asked unseriously. A boy walked up to me, “hello dear how was church service?”, he asked. “Fine oo”, I replied with a straight face. “I have been admiring you for a while. I do come out to my balcony each morning as you leave for lectures just to catch a glimpse of you”. He said to me. My dear, I almost busted in laughter ooo, see toasting nau. Amara narrated, clapped and laughed.

I smiled and listened attentively, curious to know the end of her story. “Which level you dey?” the silly boy asked me. “I still dey my first year” I lied. You needed to see how he licked his lips my sister.

His next comment almost made me slap him. “I'm in 200 level, Microbiology, hope we can be friends?, I will be happy to have your phone number?” he asked me. Chaii I bit my lips and eyed him.

Imagine 200 level boy toasting me on a Sunday, I don suffer. she shook her head, while I continued my laughter. I was still controlling my anger when he held my right hand as if we were mates, trust me. I slapped shit out of that hand, imagine small boy toasting his aunty” she sighed, feigning anger.

I laughed heartily, “free the boy jare, it's a free world” I joked. “So you can still laugh like this?” she smiled and shook her head.
I left her room, two hours later, smiling and a bit relieved. I really was glad to have gone there. I slept without thinking of Mike.

Early the next day, Amara came over to my room fully dressed and ready for lectures. I hurriedly prepared and together we left for school. “Are you still worried about Mike?” she asked after a while. I sighed and said nothing.

“My dear this is the right time to move on with your life. Your destiny isn't with him, I think you should grab the second chance life is granting you with Chike, moreover he is better and more trustworthy than Mike. Please don't blow away this opportunity, it may not come again. Chike will soon be travelling” Amara pleaded seriously.

“But I feel nothing for him, seriously I like him as a friend and nothing more” I protested. “Don't talk like that dear. You feel nothing for him because you haven't opened up your heart or given it the opportunity. Think about it, you can get many Mikes out there but you can't get a rich, intelligent unhooked young guy like Chike easily. He will be picking us after lectures, please don't act coy with him again. I beg of you” she begged seriously.

I breathed deeply as I weighed her advice.
“Is she right? Can I get to forget Mike with Chike?” how do I open my heart?” I wondered deeply. I was unable to concentrate on my lectures that fateful Monday. Just like she told me, Chike showed up by 2pm to pick us. I felt nervous as I entered his car. “Lord help me” I prayed.

The Federal Government Of Nigeria Should Place Ban On Tithes And Offerings – Comedian Gordons Says

Nigerian veteran Comedian, Godwin Komone, known popularly by his stage name, Gordons, has stated that he will be the happiest person in the world if the federal government place a ban on giving of tithes and offerings.

According to him, with that, Nigerians will know clerics who were truly called by God.

In a report by Daily Post, the comic merchant gave this advise in his latest comedy collection entitled ‘Comedy Clinic.’ The Delta-State comedian believes that the many problems currently facing Nigeria today boils down to religion.

The only solution to our problems in Nigeria today is religion.
I will be the happiest person in the world if the federal government place a ban on giving of tithes and offerings from churches.

I tell, we will continue to lament as long as these people keep collecting the little one we have in the name of offering.

By the time tithes and offerings is declared illegal, then we will know those who were called by God and those who called themselves in the ministry.

I tell you, some people actually saw miss call and not calling into church ministry,” Gordons added.

Tiwa Savage Set To Finally Reconcile With her Estranged Husband Teebillz

About six months after her marital squabble,it appears talented minstrel, Tiwa Savage, is ready to mend fences with her estranged hubby, Tunji Balogun aka Tee Billz.

According to sources close to the singer, her body language indicates that she’s ready to reconcile with her baby’s daddy. Already, there have been meetings between both families aimed at a peaceful reconciliation,Vanguard reports.

Tiwa is also said to have been meeting with older couples and counsellors who have been advising her to give her marriage another chance in respect of the ‘for better, for worse’ vows she took at the altar.

Our source who commented under the condition of anonymity stated that,
“You can take my word for it that a reconciliation is in the offing between Tiwa and Teebillz. She has told people close to her that she misses Tunji, and she wants him back in her life. Also, as their son, Jamal (Jam Jam) is growing older, Tiwa wants to ensure that he has a father figure around.”

Speaking further, the source said, “Of course, she has also given a condition that Teebillz gets help so that all the issues that led to his public meltdown will not happen again.”

However, there are also reports that Tiwa’s mom was badly hurt by the negative things Teebillz said about her on Instagram, but she’s ready to forgive and forget all because all she really wants is her daughter’s happiness.

As a pointer to the fact that Tiwa is ready to accommodate her husband, she paused her performance last Sunday at the Three Thrones concert which held at the Eko Hotel and Suites, to seek for marital advice from ‘veteran’ singing couple, Tunde and Wunmi Obe (TWO).
“You’ve been married for so long, and you’re also in the limelight; how have you managed to keep your relationship intact for all these years? There’s a lot of pressure on young couples and I’m very jealous of you,” Tiwa said right on stage.

The elderly couple responded by telling her that it is imperative to ‘marry the man you love, communication, the only third party in your marriage should be God.’
Meanwhile, Teebillz’s whereabouts is been jealously guarded like a high-value painting at a museum. His known friends in the entertainment industry have studiously maintained sealed lips in response to inquiries about where their friend is.

But it was gathered that Teebillz is presently not in Nigeria, as he travelled out shortly after the couple’s fight in April. But the good news is that the hermit guy has reopened his Instagram page which he surreptitiously closed down in the wake of the marriage brouhaha.

...“Cyndii” Mike gasped as soon as he saw me. I breathed deeply and stared at him with a coloured face. Stella's abusive words really hurt me alot, it was a miracle I still was able to stand on my feet. “Leave us alone” he ordered her.

She eyed me for the last time and returned to the apartment. I drew close, gave him the food flask and heaved a sigh. “It's breadfruit, mum sent me to deliver it. You can keep the flask” I said coldly, turned and made to leave. “Stop please, you can't just go like that” he begged nervously.

I smiled bitterly, turned and gave him another look. He couldn't even invite me into his apartment, what a shame. “Don't worry I'm perfectly fine, I have to get going” I answered. “But wait a minute, let me get my car keys and take you to your lodge” he offered. “I said I'm alright” I insisted with a slightly raised tone.

My eyes were filled with tears as I made my way to my lodge. I couldn't believe all that just happened. I couldn't believe life could be so bitter. My experience that evening looked as if I took a glimpse at my future. I couldn't believe I was caught up in such a mess. I couldn't believe myself, my fate and everything around me.
“Could Mike be lying to me?, is he just trying to take advantage of me?, is he truly in love with me? What if everything is just a mirage?” how do I know my destiny?” I wondered. I thought of Benjamin, I remembered Amara's warning, I remembered how it all began. “Dear Lord show me the way” I prayed. It's one thing to be in love and a dangerous thing to be in love with the wrong person. Mike really knew how to sweep me off my feet, but love alone can't guarrantee a happy future especially in Africa.

Getting to my lodge, I rushed straight to Amara's room without caring to stop at mine. My friend really was so shocked to see my swollen eyes. She quickly held me, and stared at me with curiousity.

“Don't tell me something happened at home?” she asked nervously. “No no no, it's Mike, I don't understand what is happening anymore” I cried and poured out my heart to her. She quietly listened and hugged me. “No one is above mistake dear, the most important thing is realising your mistakes on time. I warned you earlier but you choosed to follow your heart. This is Africa, and folks reason differently down here. You can't swim against the tide, you just can't” she murmured.

For the first time, my eyes opened to reality and my thoughts ran wildly. I didn't know what to believe. I was in love with Mike but I had no choice than to seek for a way to suppress my feelings.

....“I'm very sorry, I'm just confused. This is so absurd” he protested. “I have made my decision, you just have to take it with good faith” I replied. “But why make such decision now? Why are you doing this?” he asked seriously.

I breathed deeply and stared into his eyes.
“I really don't understand the reason you are behaving the way you are. I only asked for us not to get sexually involved with each other till we sort our problems out. What's so bad in asking for a break? It's not as if I'm asking you not to visit me again” I murmured seriously.

“You asked for a break Cyndii. No matter how you twist your words, I still understand your intentions. I'm so hurt right now” he replied unhappily, “I'm sorry but I really can't change my decision” I murmured. He shook his head, tapped his feet thrice on the floor and stormed out of my room without another word.

His behaviour really was very rude, it shocked me a great deal. I fell on my bed and thought over my decision. I was home on time the next day to assist mum with all the chores she planned doing. She was very pleased to see me.

Together we went to the farm, harvested cassava, peeled, washed and grinded the tubers. “You are truly a wonderful daughter. I know many campus girls hate travelling home on weekends because of house chores. God bless you dear” she prayed as we prepared breadfruit {ukwa in Igbo language} which was to be our night meal.

“Mike told me sometime ago that he loves eating breadfruit, he said it's very expensive and hard to get in town” she said moments later. I nodded and kept quiet, strugging hard to keep myself from opening up to her.

I wanted to tell her my fears and problems, but just couldn't. It's true she knew about Mike's child, but what she didn't know was the kind of person the child's mother was. I felt it was Mike's responsiblity to open up to my parents, perhaps with his.

I truly didn't want to spoil things for him or make him look bad in front of anybody.
“I will keep out some for him. Tomorrow evening you will help me deliver the food to him, he really helped us on Thursday” mum said minutes later, breaking my thoughts. I wanted to object but held myself.

By 5:45pm Sunday evening, I arrived at Mike's apartment with my bag and a flask containing the breadfruit mum prepared the previous day. I really didn't call to inform him that I was coming, because I had a flat battery. I used up my battery the previous evening.

So I really was extremely relieved to see his car parked beside the apartment, which suggested that he was around. I had to first come over to his place from the bus stop instead of going to my lodge because it was more convenient for me.

Stella answered my knock two minutes later. I wasn't shocked when she opened the door, but what shocked me was the words that came out from her mouth. She instantly closed the door behind her as soon as she saw me and faced me arrogantly like a hungry wolf.

“You again?, why are you so keen at destroying my happiness? You will get old waiting for my Mike to marry you. Do you think I will raise my daughter without her father huh? Moreover we are back together and nothing we set us apart again” she barked murderously, pushing me in the process.

Perhaps if not for Mike's timely intervention by showing up that moment, things could have gotten more ugly. But her words had the desired effect on me.

THE BETRAYAL: Episode 70 Bleak Future

Previously on THE BETRAYAL: Episode 69 The Worst is About to Happen

....I opened the door for Mike who slowly entered my room, gasped with surprise as his eyes fell on Amara and Chike. He stared at Chike longer than necessary before forcing out a smile and shaking him {in greeting}.

I nervously breathed deeply, while Amara's face coloured up with tension. We were all uncomfortable.

To ease up tension, I walked up to Mike and held his waist. My action calmed him a great deal, but made Amara give me a weird look while Chike looked away, focusing his attention back on the book he was holding.

“How was work?” I asked him. “Stressful, I came running here as soon as we closed for the day” he replied with a calm smile.
“I have to get going, it's getting late” Chike instantly announced, stood and nodded at Amara who dutifully stood and held him.
“I'm leaving with him dear, you know we came together” she smiled. I shrugged and nodded.

“I will get some Romance novels for you tomorrow” Chike added, giving Mike a nervous glance. “I won't be around tomorrow, I will be travelling home” I replied. “Okay by next week then, safe journey in advance” he laughed and left with Amara.

“Hmmm you know this is how it all starts, I don't want to see that guy ever in your room or with you anywhere” Mike said seriously, annoying me with his words. I broke free from him, went to my door and locked it.

“I really do care about you very well, you may not notice what is happening, but that guy is trying to force his way into your life” he lectured. “Enough please” I shouted angrily, “please learn how to check what you say, you are getting me angry” I warned and backed him.

He drew close to me, gently held my shoulders and caressed them softly. My hormones awoke, much to my dismay.
His touch melted my heart and weakened me.

It really has been long I last had sex. My nipples rose and grew hard, my head overflowed with cravings. Calmly he drew closer, resting his chest on my back. I felt his heartbeat.

“My heart, my queen” he moaned, turning me to face him. We stared at each other, I saw deep passion in his eyes. I was lost, I was captivated, my feelings ran wild. I wanted sex, I wanted it hot and quick.
Bringing down his lips, he kissed me softly.

My heart was with him, my body was his, but suddenly I felt something strange engulfed me. I felt nauseous, I felt sick.
The fearful feelings I had when I got the news of Dad's accident returned. It appeared as if the evil wind of misfortune was back in my room.

I broke free from him and covered my face with my palms. “What's wrong my dear?” he asked. “I'm scared, really really scared” I confessed. He smiled and hugged me reassuringly, murmuring sweet words of reassurance into my ears.

I loved him very much, I wanted to be with him for the rest of my life, but I felt something wasn't just right, something I couldn't fathom. “I think it's better we keep our feelings and body in check, at least till you sort out your relationship with Stella.

Let's give each other a little break please” I heard myself beg, but my words had a terrible effect on him. For a minute he couldn't say anything. “Is it necessary dear?, I hope it's not because of that guy who just left here that you are asking for us to give each other a break?” he asked seriously, upsetting me with his presumptuous question.

I violently pushed him. I felt insulted and humiliated. “Perhaps to him I can have feelings for any guy who happened to show interest in me. “Am I that cheap in his eyes?” I wondered with disgust.

Lagos State Government To Employ 1,000 Graduates As Bus Conductors

Comrade Adeshola in an interview with Vanguard also disclosed that the new policy of the Lagos state government under the leadership of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode is collaborating with the association to give Bus Conducting profession a new look.

According to him, “presently Lagos state government through the Lagos State Drivers Institute, LASDRI is training and accrediting conductors in the state, adding that after the training the graduands would be employed as Bus Conductors and would be on the payroll of the government with a salary worth of N50,000 per month.

“The objective is to make the job of bus conducting attractive, respected and dignified as obtainable globally”, he said. Adeshola explained that there is a project in the pipeline by the state government to change the face of transportation system to enhance security and also provide employment opportunity in the state.

Speaking on the vision of the association, he said, since the establishment in 2008, it has been working relentlessly with the federal government through the national assembly as well as some state governments to establish its presence.

The Part 3 Of Miss Anambra Chidinma Okeke’s Video May Surface Soon – Source Claims

More trouble is looming for dethroned Miss Anambra 2015, Chidinma Okeke, if the word of a source from Awka, Anambra State, is anything to go by.

Vanguard reports that the source who pledged anonymity said that the current trending videos online are mild and alleged that Chidinma also engaged in more acts which lasted over one hour.

And that the part 3 of her sexcapades which may surface soon, is ‘more brutal’ than what was seen in the first two videos that have been released.

The source went ahead to reveal that the ex-beauty queen knows the person releasing the video as against what she claimed.

He said the whole episode is as a result of a deal gone wrong, a deal made between the beauty queen and one chief, whose name is being fiercely guarded.

The source said: “First, this is an investment gone wrong. Chief (name not disclosed) sponsored Chidinma Okeke to win the pageant. Chief spent up to N2million to ensure she emerged as the winner against other beautiful contestants. Chief also budgeted for her wardrobe and makeover pre and post beauty contest.

The money was released in trenches to Miss Anambra. Chief also took her to various countries including Germany where she met other models based on the contract terms which Miss Chidinma signed with Chief.

“Part of the agreement stipulates that Chief would make her a big model and whatever proceeds that come during her reign would be shared as specified in the contract terms. Chidinma consented and signed the deal.

“Chidinma emerged as the winner of Miss Anambra, got higher connections and wanted to opt out from the contract without repaying all the expenses Chief incurred. Chief warned of the consequences, but she remained adamant. Chief released a picture to her requesting she comply with the payment and remit the money she is holding before her tenure comes to an end. Chidinma feigned ignorance and even boasted that Chief cannot do anything. It was alleged that she disclosed to a close friend that if chief tried to do anything, they would get him arrested. That was the beginning of the leak. Information available also claimed that the current trending video online is mild. That they have one showing longer sex action by Chidinma.

“Based on the above information, and the fact that Chidinma was a consenting adult as at the time the contract was signed, which reasonably supports the logic behind Chidinma’s silence towards naming the perpetrators; I will advise the family to quit the threat they are making to the man and settle this amicably off the media to avoid further embarrassment for my state, other ‘responsible’ beauty pageants because this is seriously casting them in bad light.”

Miss Anambra, Chidinma Okeke's Leaked Video Tops Nigeria’s Google Search

The outgoing Miss Anambra, Chidinma Okeke, was a top trending issue on Google search this week, not for winning another beauty pageant, but for a leaked sex video that went viral, according to a Daily Trust’s report.

According to a statement by Mr Taiwo Kola-Ogunlade, Google’s Communications and Public Affairs Manager, Anglophone West Africa, the issue was trending from Oct. 19 to Oct. 26.

Kola-Ogunlade said that in the entertainment industry, the internet showed how a #Beauty Queen Became a Hashtag

“The viral video unveiled a beauty queen’s sexual preference and drew people’s attention.

“The beauty queen went on her social media pages to deny the video.

“She explained that her face was superimposed on an existing picture,’’ he said, adding that the beauty queen said it was an attempt by hoodlums to blackmail her.

Also top on Google search this week was the coronation ceremony of the newly-crowned Oba of Benin, Kola-Ogunlade said.

Long Live the King! After several weeks of traditional rites, Eheneden Erediauwa was finally crowned as the 39th Oba of Benin, he said.

The Google manager said that the crowned head would now be called Oba Ewuare II after the famous Benin ancestor who was credited with many significant legacies in Benin.

He said that the Benin ancestor was widely claimed to be the greatest king of the Benin Empire. Oba Ghato Kpere… Ise!

WizKid (Starboy) , in his usual tradition, raised the bar on Google search as he carted away three major awards at the recently concluded 2016 MTV Africa Music Awards, popularly known as MAMA.

“The starboy was named the Artist of the Year, Best Male and Best Collaboration Awards win with Dj Maphorsia and Dj Buckz,’’ the Google manager said.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Google Trends launched in May 2006, allows one to see how popular, search terms and its demography have been over time on Google. (NAN)

THE BETRAYAL: Episode 69 The Worst is About to Happen

Previously on THE BETRAYAL: Episode 68 He Thought I was Falling for Him

....I really had a great fun at the club dancing myself to exhaustion. It really was wonderful, pushing aside my fears and worries to enjoy every moment of that night. It truly was a wild night.

“I'm so glad to see happiness back on your face” Amara giggled as we danced. Chike truly behaved like a gentleman, he never made any silly remark nor behaved inappropriately.

I just felt happy, throwing decency to the wind as I danced. I really can't say what went into me that fateful night. For the first time I discarded my identity, though it only was for few hours. What a long happy night it was.

Seriously clubs are where we get to live another life without anyone raising eyebrow at you. “I'm glad you girls are happy”, Chike murmured as he drove us back to our lodge by 6:40am.

I looked out of the window and smiled quietly. He really had insisted on taking us to his apartment when we left the club by 3:15am, citing security reasons. It really didn't go down well with me, but I accepted after Amara pleaded and assured me that nothing silly would happen.

Just like she assured me, Chike behaved himself when we got to his plush apartment. I opted to rest in the sitting room, while Amara had no choice than to stay with me, she cuddled herself on a long couch and soon fell asleep. I sat on a smaller one, crossed my legs and waited for dawn.

By 6:15am I woke Amara, who grumbled before going over to Chike's room to drag him out. He drove us back to our lodge minutes later without complaining. But on getting to the lodge I was extremely surprised to see Mike standing by his car. I couldn't believe my eyes, nor think of what could bring him to my lodge by that hour. I was simply dumbfounded, I felt like dodging, but had no choice than to alight from Chike's car.

The time was 6:55am. “So this is what you do?, just hours after your parents left the hospital?” Mike asked, casting a terrible glance at my clothes. I equally wasn't appropriately dressed. “I came to see you before going to work, but what did I get. The gateman tells me you and your friend spent the night out” he said angrily.
“I'm sorry dear, I just wanted to ease up stress by clubbing” I apologized.

“Who is that guy?” he asked. “Amara's cousin” I replied. “That's not what I'm asking” he murmured, “what really are his intentions towards you?” he asked. I frowned and stared at him. “Don't insult me please, what are you insinuating?” I asked.

“I know he is buying his time” he said to himself, getting me a little confused.
“Please let's go to my room, I'm very tired” I begged. “No I'm almost late for work, but I will be here before 5:30pm” he promised, forcing out a smile. “Alright dear, thanks for helping us yesterday” I thanked and hugged him.

“It's my obligation, your family is mine also” he replied. I called mum as soon as I got to my room and enquired about my dad. I was glad they were all okay.
I smiled happily and fell on my bed.
“I will be harvesting my cassava tomorrow. The ones planted behind Udoka's compound” she informed me. “Nawao! Aren't you supposed to rest this weekend?” I asked with disbelief. “No dear, there isn't any garri left in the house and you know your dad prefers home-made. I will rest today, then tomorrow I do the harvest, peel, wash and grind them against Monday when I will do the frying” she explained. “Oh mum, you are really stressing yourself too much. Anyway i will be home very early tomorrow to assist you” I promised and hung up.

I took my bath and slept off, waking by 4pm to prepare indomie and egg which I took with a bottle of coke. I was about opening a novel I borrowed from a coursemate, when I heard knocks on my door. I rose up and opened my door. It was Amara with Chike by her side. I really wasn't pleased to see him but what could I do?

“Don't tell me you are still sleeping lazy girl?” Amara asked searchingly, “it's 5:30 already” she laughed. I allowed them into my room, settled on my bed with Amara, while Chike sat quietly on my reading chair. He grabbed the novel I earlier was about reading and focused his attention on it.

“Hmmm BEDDED OR WEDDED by Julia James” he read out the title, drawing out my curiosity. “Do you like romance novels” I asked without thinking, “Yea I love literature with passion, I'm a great fan of romance and crime novels, but I prefer crime more, however it doesn't stop me from staying awake all night to read a good romance story especially when it's from harlequin authors, like Emma Darcy's “BILLIONAIRE'S CAPTIVE BRIDE”, “WILLINGLY BEDDED, FORCIBLY WEDDED” by Melanie Milburne and a whole lot of others” he explained fluently.

I was impressed, but just that moment I heard a knock on my door. I glanced at my wall clock and breathed deeply.
MY INSTINCT TOLD ME IT WAS MIKE.

...“There isn't any problem being friends with you, moreover I think we already are” I replied calmly. He shrugged and smiled,
“so how about we hang out after your lectures?” he asked again.“I think you are asking too much, I can't promise you anything else, thanks for the ride” I replied, alighted from his car and headed for lectures.

Mike however surprised me with his presence after lectures. As I left the lecture hall, I noticed his car parked almost at the same spot Chike parked his, hours earlier. I slowed my pace and searched for him, I soon felt someone grab my right wrist, I turned to see him smiling at me.
“What are you doing here?” I asked anxiously, a bit scared that perhaps he came with bad news from the hospital.
“Aren't you supposed to be at work?” I asked curiously.“Yes I'm, but you are equally very important to me, we really need to talk” he answered calmly.
“Talk what?” is there anything left for us to discuss?” I asked suspiciously.
“Let's get into the car first” he smiled. I obeyed and followed him to his car.

He quickly switched on the engine, reversed and drove out of the school premises.“Where are we going?” I asked anxiously.“Somewhere we could discuss without any noise” he replied.“I'm not going anywhere with you, just stop here and tell me whatever you want to” I commanded.

He smiled, slowed and brought his car to a halt.“It's all about Stella, she's still at my place, I'm totally fed up” he poured out vehemently, making my heart leap. “She's still in my apartment with my little daughter, I don't know what to do. I can't lock her out, I can't hit her either because I'm scared of the consequence, I just don't know how to follow her, she seemed very determined to frustrate me especially after that incident that led us to the police station.

I suspect her brother is the brain behind it all, they are very determined to destroy my happiness and future, can you believe I'm yet to meet and discuss wìth the family because they keep on giving one excuse after another each time I try to reach out to them” he lamented.

I felt bad hearing his speech and knowing that he was suffering in such manner. His feelings really reflected in him, I had no doubt he was telling the truth, but I also didn't know what to say. Stella really was a very crafty, obnoxious young girl who could unleash mayhem without consideration.

“Cyndii dear, lately in every twenty four hours, I pass through an hour of anguish” he cried in a degrading manner. “I don't know what to say, I really don't” I murmured thoughtfully. “Then don't say anything my love” he replied quietly, “I only wanted to share my situation with you which I have done” he added.

“I really think your parents will be in a better position to help you, some things are very much beyond us, but not beyond our parents. Elders they say can see things way above the ordinary, things we can't see even when on top the tallest Iroko tree” I advised, “I believe in destiny dear, I have already overlooked all your flaws and I believe that if it is written that we will be together, nothing will stop it from happening” I reached for his hand and assured him. He breathed deeply and bit his lips,

“I really don't understand you baby, sometimes you look at me with spite, treat me with disdain and behave as if you feel nothing for me, yet sometimes you display your love just like the morning rose, bringing brightness into my dark heart. I know I don't deserve you after all I have done, but my love for you is really sincere,

I can't stand seeing you with another guy. I'm selfishly in love with you” he murmured and stared into my eyes.“To get to follow things my dear, don't dwell in the past, your parents I think will be in a better position to help you” I advised all over again.

My dad was discharged the following day, after spending many terrifying nights at the hospital. I was extremely happy and relieved. Mike was on hand to take my parents home with his car, he really was very helpful...a darling.

“Now I can sleep with both eyes closed” I said excitedly to Amara as we returned to our Lodge {from the hospital}. “No, no, no, wait a minute, don't talk about sleep yet. We are first going to party tonight and celebrate” she hinted mischievously. “Hmmm party kwa?, where?” I asked.

“We are clubbing tonight of course, come on girl, you have got to put on some light in your life” she giggled, “moreover Chike is offering to take us” she announced, making me stare at her suspiciously,
“please stop looking at me like that jare, wetin be your own” she eyed me. I shook my head and smiled.

By 10pm, we marched out of our lodge and headed straight to Chike's waiting car. After days of stress and anxiety, I really needed something to revive my spirit...
however I couldn't help but notice Chike's confident smiles as we entered his vehicle  perhaps he thought I was already falling for him ..

...“What do you want?” I asked. “Where can we meet?” she asked, ignoring my question. “You are not serious” I murmured. “Don't you think it's time we come to a sort of compromise?” I heard her ask. “Your father!” I cursed, “Yours is in the hospital abi?” she laughed, “don't say I didn't try to make peace with you ooo, I have tried, but I think the bad blood in you won't let you reason well” she hissed and hung up.

I bit my lips, cursed silently and walked on. I soon heard a car horn, honk behind, startling me. I turned curiously, faintly recognizing Chike's car as it pulled up by my side. “Hmmm is this one stalking me or is it just a coincidence” I wondered.

“Hi Cyndii, you are going to school right?, hope in, let me drop you” he offered. “Oh no, don't bother, I'm almost at the school gate” I replied polietly. “I insist dear, what are friends for?” he insisted. I shrugged, stared at him for a while before climbing into his car.

He slowly drove into the school premises.
“So how is your dad?” he asked seconds later. “He is fine” I answered. “I know I shouldn't be asking you this due to your current situation, but is there any chance of us meeting after your lectures?” he asked, “What for?” I asked innocently, giving him a curious look which made him a bit uncomfortable.

He shrugged and laughed. “Nothing actually, I only feel like hanging out with you” he replied. “Please take the next turn by your right, you will see a large hall, that's where I'm heading to” I said instantly, directing him and changing the topic.

“How about Amara?” he asked. “She doesn't feel like attending lectures today, she's probably sleeping in her room” I replied. He said nothing, until we got to the hall. He stopped his car, turned and stared at me. “I know this won't be the first time you are hearing this from a guy, but I really do like you with all my heart. Please let's be good friends and study each other, hope I'm not asking for much?” he gently proposed.

I breathed deeply and returned his gaze, I really couldn't make out any good answer for his request. I simply shrugged and opened the passenger's door. His offer of friendship could literally mean anything. I wasn't ready for another mind game.

THE BETRAYAL: Episode 65 Dilemma

Previously on THE BETRAYAL: Episode 64 More Things About to Unfold

....Amara sensing the tensed atmosphere in the room didn't allow Chike to spend nothing but few minutes with us before politely dragging him away, but the few minutes he spent with us however didn't stop him from giving his feelings away by the manner he stared at me, which Mike noticed.

He however never made any silly remark, nor tried to flirt with me, probably because of my parents presence and the environment we were in, but it never stopped me nor any curious person nearby from guessing what was going on in his mind.

His behaviour and restlessness revealed everything. Mike really was extremely overwhelmed by Chike's boldness or should I say alarmed over all he witnessed, but his surprise and fury further heightened when he saw Benjamin and his mum walk in few minutes after Chike and Amara had left.

However he was very polite and diplomatic as he exchanged pleasantries with them, of course he had no choice than to be, even though his coloured face almost gave his feelings away. Sincerely, I saw no reason for his tensed look.

As my parents chatted with Benjamin and his mum, I felt like shedding tears. I never imagined nor dreamt that my dad would ever be an object of pity, lying in such a poor helpless position. Yea I wore a smiling face, but I was dead inside. I couldn't help but wonder what was going through in Benjamin's mind, his mother's mind and even in Mike's mind.

Oh how terrible and devastated I was as the whole event unfolded. Benjamin and his mum left after spending close to twenty five minutes with us.“Be strong dear, most times challenges come to test our faith and courage, how we withstand it, is what truly matters in the end, there isn't any need crying over spilt milk.

Your dad is a strong man” Benjamin's mum had advised me as they got ready to leave. The good old lady was nothing but kindness. She also gave me Three Thousand Naira before leaving. Mike's cold gaze rested on me as soon as they left, “please can we talk outside?” he said to me, forcing out a dry smile with which he confused my parents with. But I wasn't deceived by it, I knew he was dying of jealousy.“Why do MEN always feel threatened over a minor issue?”, I wondered.

THE BETRAYAL: Episode 66 When Trouble Comes Knocking at The Door

Previously on THE BETRAYAL: Episode 65 Dilemma

...Without another word, I stood up and followed him. We silently left the hospital building and stopped in front of a small kiosk just a stone throw away.“Hmmm so why am I here?” I asked softly, folding my hands.

He simply smiled, shrugged and stared at me searchingly. “Is there anything I need to know?” he asked, provoking me with his annoying question.“Don't tell me you brought me all the way here just to ask if I have anything you need to know?” I fired back, trying hard to keep my feelings in check.

He shrugged again, drew forward and held my left hand. “I was very surprised to see Benjamin and his mum today, why didn't you tell me they were coming, or didn't I deserve such information?” he asked. I kept quiet, refusing to answer him.
“Of course I know you won't answer, I know you are always right in everything, but we are in a relationship, I'm your fiancee for God's sake, I have privileges my dear, don't you get it?” he asked, making me scoff with annoyance,

“Benjamin's visit equally came as a surprise to me, I never knew they were coming by that hour, so please stop preaching about privileges to me, because you are guilty as well or have you forgotten your Stella so soon eeh?” I answered with a raised tone.

He rubbed his hair and face, turned and backed me nervously. “And how about the guy your friend showed up with earlier today, I couldn't help but notice that you two do have something going on?” he asked, {still backing me}.

“What are you insinuating?, I can't believe my ears” I screamed.“Of course you won't” he murmured. “Fine believe whatever you like Mike, I don't have the strength to argue with you this hot Sunday” I shouted and ran back to the {hospital} ward, where mum gave me a curious look. Fortunately she asked no question.

*3:15PM SUNDAY* I barely had settled in my room after a long strenuous day at the hospital, with my mind boiling over Mike's attitude when Amara came rushing into my room. “Oh dear Cyndii, please permit me to give Chike your phone number, I don't know what else to tell him.

He has been insisting and you know he is my cousin please” she begged, throwing me into another state of confusion as I wondered what to tell my dear friend without sounding harsh nor easy. “Alright, okay you can give him my phone number, but please warn him not to bug me with it, moreover I think you should also tell him all about my life so that he won't start nursing an impossible agenda” I said to Amara whose eyes quickly lit up in happiness.

“No problem dear, I will warn him just as you want” she promised, before changing the topic and enquiring about my dad's health.

Monday finally approached, starting like any other work day. I first rushed to school, attended two morning lectures before rushing over to the hospital to be with dad, while Mum travelled home. Watching over my bed-ridden dad really wasn't as easy as it sounded, not only was it one of the most boring and sickening period of my life, it equally was one of the most terrifying moments of my young life.

I suspected that the true nature of his health was being hidden from me. I saw life and death dancing Skelewu before my very eyes as they fought over one patient after another, bed by bed they danced, Mr death snapping life out of any patient he so desired, not even those fit for discharge, declared hale and hearty by doctors were spared {if it was the patient's turn}. You can't imagine how anxious and scared I was as seconds, minutes, hours and days dragged by.

*Wednesday morning* I was on my way to school when my phone rang, I stared at the unknown number for a while before answering.“Hello Cyndii” I heard a familiar female voice greet. “Hi good morning, please who am I speaking with?” I asked curiously. “Oh dear, you are speaking with Stella, Mike's friend” she answered effortlessly, while I recoiled in surprise and anger. I felt like cursing her that moment but I restrained myself because I was anxious to know what prompted the obnoxious girl to call me.

Previously on THE BETRAYAL: Episode 63 Still On the Matter

....Mike followed me into my room, sat on my bed and crossed his legs. “Isn't it time you start leaving, it's past six already?” I asked coldly, while he shrugged and yawned. “I see you are all out to provoke me today, but why Cyndii, why?” he asked with a mild tone. “Because you have been provoking me lately and I'm equally not in the right frame of mind this moment. Dad had an accident and he is helplessly lying at St. Mary's hospital, so please let me be” I lamented and robbed my eyes.

He gasped, jumped up and held me, lines of shock and surprise appeared on his face as he stared down at me. He appeared genuinely touched. “Why didn't you call to inform me earlier, I'm now part of your family you know?” he murmured as he held me.

I broke free from him, and stared at him with a coloured face. “How do you expect me to call you, when it's obvious you are still having a good time with your baby mama?” I accused. He swallowed hard and frowned slightly, “I know you aren't thinking properly right now, I better leave so that you can freshen up, sleep and get yourself back. Good night dearie” he said to me, planted a kiss on my forehead and left without another word.

I really was unable to sleep that night, I kept tossing on my bed as I thought of my life, my family and my relationship with Mike, everything seemed to be in disarray, I couldn't believe my life was crumbling,
“GOD why why why?” I kept asking.

Early the next day, I headed back to the hospital with a flask of hot water and porridge yam which I specially prepared on mum's request. My heart flew, when I got to the ward and saw Mike seriously chatting with mum and dad. He never told me he was coming, which really caused the shock and surprise I felt as I saw him.

However dad was in lively spirit, so was mum, leaving me with no choice than to relax. I walked up to them, greeting politely as I dropped my load on the floor. “How was your night?” my parents asked. I shrugged and smiled,

“I couldn't sleep because I was worried” I replied as I gave Mike a strange glance, which made him shift uncomfortably. My phone rang soon after, breaking my attention as I reached for it.

“Hello Benjamin” I greeted as I answered the call. A slight frown appeared on Mike's face as soon as he heard me call Benjamin's name. “My mum told me your dad was involved in an accident, I tried calling you last night but couldn't get you.

How is he?” he asked. “Oh he's getting better, though we are still at the hospital. St Mary's along the school road” I replied.
“My mum and I are coming over right away” he replied, surprising me. “Oh no you guys shouldn't bother” I murmured.
“We are coming ooo” he replied and hung up while Mike silently stared at me.

We said nothing to each other even though we had alot to say. My parents however never noticed the tension between us and I was glad they didn't.

11:30AM Amara walked into the ward with Chike by her side, I was extremely surprised to see both of them, especially Chike because I knew he came for my sake. I was nervous as I watched them draw closer, while Mike and my mother exchanged glances.

My heart pounded furiously as I equally remembered that Benjamin and his mum were also on their way to the hospital.
“Oh no!” I gasped.

The attention of the management of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, organisers of the Miss Anambra Beauty Pageant has been drawn to a video with lurid contents purportedly showing former Miss Anambra, Miss Chidinma Okeke (Miss Anambra 2015).

We wish to make the following clarifications;

The said Miss Chidinma Okeke who is allegedly linked to the lurid content in circulation has served-out her term as Miss Anambra 2015 and handed over the crown in line with the terms and conditions of The Miss Anambra pageant.

We condemn in clear terms any amoral behaviour/ conduct as suggested by the alleged lurid content in circulation and do not condone such.

It is on record that The Miss Anambra Beauty Pageant has been a platform to empower Anambra women and celebrate our rich culture and heritage. Winners of the pageant are bound to contracts to be of good conduct and moral behaviour and to uphold/maintain the honour in their position as queen.

Winners of the pageant also contract to refrain from any personal relationship that could appear to hinder their ability to perform the duties of their office as queen and role model and we do not expect any less.

We therefore wish to dissociate The Miss Anambra pageant from any discussions on the said allegations.

We feel sufficiently perturbed by the mere reference already made to the pageant and hereby state that we are in no way connected to the controversy.

We apologize to the government and good people of Anambra state, our sponsors, supporters, friends and all those associated with the Miss Anambra project for the embarrassment the mere reference to the pageant in the controversy may have caused; whilst reassuring of the good intentions of the Miss Anambra pageant franchise.

....I instantly dropped my phone in shock and held my head. Amara dutifully shook me, concerned and anxious to know the reason for my outburst.

“Hope all is well my dear?” Benjamin's mum calmly asked. I breathed deeply and shook my head. “My dad” I cried. “Yes, what happened?” Amara asked, but before I could answer, my phone rang again.
“Hello mum” I murmured as I answered her call for the second time.

“We are at St James hospital, very close to your school, where are you?” she asked again, “I'm, I'm” I stammered. “Please be here quick, I need to rush home and get some things” she added without waiting for my reply, while I breathed deeply.

All eyes were on me as I dropped my phone and stared back at Benjamin's mum whose eyes were seriously scanning my face in deep awe. I stood up uneasily, bit my lips and shrugged.

“I'm sorry ma, but I have to start leaving, I just got a terrible call from my mother informing me that my dad was involved in a motor accident this morning” I explained with tears.

The old woman gasped, covering her mouth with her hands. “Oh dear lord” she screamed, made the sign of the cross, drew forward and held me with concern. Her expression forced more tears out of my eyes, making me sob uncontrollably.

I broke free from her and ran outside while Amara eagerly followed me. I felt bad, broken and down, very scared and lost.
Not only was i crying for dad's accident, I equally was crying for my life. I was extremely scared of my future, scared of tomorrow and scared of my family's fate. I never believed in superstition but yet I had a very strange feeling about everything, I feared that the evil wind of misfortune had not only befallen me but has engulfed my innocent family as well.

I felt very responsible for everything, I saw my life turning upside down. “Save your tears dear, things may not be as bad as you fear” I heard Amara say as she held me reassuringly, I stared at her with prayers in my lips. “I hope so dear, I do pray so, because if Dad dies, I'm finished” I murmured sadly, a very painful but truthful sentence it was.

We finally got to St. James hospital an hour later. We soon found dad in the male ward, lying helplessly on a bed, mum by his side watching over him keenly. My heart skipped as my face coloured.
“Dad” I cried, rushing forward to hold him, while Amara dutifully held my left hand softly. More tears fell from my eyes as I stared at his legs which were heavily bandaged. “Stop crying dear, they are just flesh wounds, they will heal within days” dad assured me, forcing out a dry smile, but I wasn't convinced even though I never argued about it.

“What took you so long? Isn't your lodge just a stone throw away from here?” mum asked searchingly. I shrugged and stared at her, “I'm very sorry mum, Amara and I really were out of town, attending a friend's wedding” I lied effortlessly.

“Hmmm, alright I don't have your time for now, take my position and watch over your dad while I rush home to get more money and other things” she replied, standing up with a nervous smile. I hugged her, “alright mum, please do be careful” I whispered into her ear.

She nodded, held Dad's hand for some seconds before leaving me to watch over him. I offered Amara mum's chair while I sat at the edge of Dad's bed.

Amara really was a wonderful friend, she stayed with me without complaining or leaving till mum showed up later in the evening with food and some other stuffs.
“I brought enough food for everyone” mum smiled as she dropped the huge food flask she brought on the floor.

I smiled, while Amara shook her head.
“Oh no don't tell me you girls are not hungry?” she asked with a drawn face.
“Oh dear, leave the girls alone, you don't expect them to eat in this environment, do you?” dad murmured weakly, coming to our defence, and making mum to shrug in resignation.

“Alright I think it's time you girls return to your lodge and rest. I can handle him alone” she said with a smile, while I yawned. It really isn't an easy thing watching over a loved one in hospital.

However my mind calmed after discovering that dad wasn't in any grave danger, just a little fracture, and more of flesh wound. {An accident which occurred when a speeding vehicle brushed the motorcycle conveying him to the bus park, sending him and the bike man to a nearby gutter}

Amara and I returned to our lodge by 6:15pm very tired and weak. She quickly went over to her room while I rushed to mine, freezing in shock as I ran into Mike who was standing on my door-way, with hands in his trouser pocket.

“Where are you coming from?, I have been here all day?” he asked with a suspicious look, annoying me with his question. I swallowed and rolled my eyes. “Oh please” I sighed, provoking him further.

He bit his lips and stared at me angrily. He seemed ready for a fight which I equally was willing to give him.
