Brazilian's agent says the Man Utd boss want to take the winger to Old Trafford.
Lucas Moura was linked with United in 2013.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho wants to sign Lucas Moura, according to the Paris Saint-Germain winger's agent.
Moura almost moved to Old Trafford in 2013 before he chose to leave Sao Paulo for PSG, instead.
But the Brazilian's agent, Wagner Ribeiro, claims Mourinho tried to sign Moura while he was in charge of Real Madrid.
And he insists the United manager still rates the 24-year-old so highly that he wants to bring him to the Premier League.
He said: "Who called Lucas Moura (from Real Madrid), who wanted Lucas Moura wasn’t Florentino Perez, it was Mourinho.
"Mourinho was, and is, passionate for Lucas Moura. So much so that now at Manchester he wants Lucas as well."
Mourinho has already spent nearly £150m as United manager to bring in Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Paul Pogba to Old Trafford.
Moura signed for PSG for £38m in 2013 and has scored 26 goals in 167 games for the French champions.
